Introduction Blog

Hey to whoever is reading this, my name is Anson Ng and I am 19 years old. I was born in Hong Kong and moved to New York City when I was only a week old. After living in NYC for about 4-5 years, my parents decided to move to a little town called Norwich in Connecticut. I loved how it only took about 15 minutes to drive down to the beach whereas now it takes about 4-5 hours to go to Ocean City. After Connecticut, my parents moved yet again the summer of my Freshman year. This time my folks decided to move to Ellicott City, Maryland. This was a pretty big change to me because I went from living to the countryside to a suburban area. Since moving here to Maryland, I have grown to love this place and will miss it if I ever move to another state.

This will be upcoming second year in college and my major is nursing. My goal in the future is to become a nurse in the emergency room. I live for the trill and love the adrenaline rush when immediate help is needed. After this upcoming school year, I am planning to transfer to University of Maryland, School of Nursing to complete my bachelors in Nursing.

And something that you probably don't know about me is that I have three jobs! Yes, you're probably thinking I'm crazy and yeah, I kind of agree. I can time manage pretty well and still have time to hang out with my friends and family. The jobs that I work at are: PINK, abercrombie kids, and a dog kennel called Preston Country Club for Pets. The dog kennel is my favorite job out of all three, and no, it's not because I play with dogs all day(because that is NOT what we do), it is because I get to work with coworkers that are basically family, and I love, love, love dogs! Here are some cute pictures of some dogs that I work with!

  4. Omg I feel like I can connect with you. I'm not only a full-time student but I also work full time as well. Working and going to school is a very hard but amazing thing. I believe that it is preparing us for the reality because we learn how to time manage more efficiently and quickly more than others. especially going into the nurse field where it's demanding of your time. I have my CNA and the work that they do is amazing and very difficult as well as a lot on the body. But at the end of the day, you know you did an awesome thing for those residents. I am soon going to get a dog and I would love to talk to you about where to get one?
